Dr. Amy Beth Taublieb is a Licensed Psychologist who has been in private practice in the Western New York area for over 25 years.

She received her undergraduate degree at Brandeis University and returned home to Buffalo to complete her doctoral degree.

She is the sole author of four books and her most recent published in 2017.

What to expect from Dr. Taublieb

Dr. Taublieb has been in the field of psychology for over thirty years. During that time, she has had the benefit of working with all types of psychological issues in various formats – groups, individual, couples, and family therapy as well as performing various forms of assessments for schools, courts, businesses, professions, and individuals. Dr. Taublieb has worked with literally thousands of different patients with a wide variety of presenting complaints including depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, tritchotillomania (compulsive hair pulling), addictive disorders, as well as grief/loss issues. In addition, she frequently provides therapy for life events which could potentially result in psychological distress such as job problems, stressors of caretaking, relationship issues, coping with a family member’s mental illness and/or addiction, parenting/coparenting difficulties, and the challenges associated with the end of life.

With respect to specialized assessments, Dr. Taublieb is involved performing evaluations which are required/ordered by the courts, job sites, and schools. She conducts DWI Assessments (and is certified by the Department of Motor Vehicles as well as by OASAS), Custodial Assessments, Parenting Assessments, as well as those required when allegations of Sexual Abuse are involved. Finally, she is qualified to perform Coparenting Therapy in divorce/separation situations.
